Test procedure

1. Confirm sulphite treatment. Sample and test promptly as prescribed; check reagent expiry.
2. Measure the sample volume, carry out the reaction and read the result as instructed. Minimise changes caused by air exposure or testing delays.
3. Compare with specified residual limits. Adjust treatment by feedwater and load; retest and record.
