For two-acid chemical polishing of aluminium alloys, particularly thin sheet with blasted or brushed finishes. Improves uniformity on complex or large parts and reduces hole-edge attack and uneven local corrosion. For thin walls, hole edges and complex aluminium parts in two-acid polishing. Helps balance local reactions; dosing and maintenance depend on acid ratio, aluminium-ion build-up, temperature and surface results.

Application guidelines

1. Confirm alloy, geometry and acid ratio. Assess sample hole edges and thin walls in particular.
2. Add as specified in the TDS. Control temperature, time and dose; mix thoroughly before treatment.
3. Rinse and inspect hole-edge attack and uniformity. Replenish according to bath accumulation and drag-out.
