A mildly alkaline, phosphate- and silicate-free powder for rapid oil removal from aluminium alloys while retaining surface brightness as far as possible. For degreasing before anodising, conversion coating and painting. Suits processes restricting phosphates and silicates; bath management focuses on oil loading, surface brightness and rinse quality.

Application guidelines

1. Confirm alloy, subsequent process and formulation restrictions. Trial-clean and assess cleanliness and brightness.
2. Dissolve fully as specified in the TDS. Use the prescribed degreasing process; monitor accumulated oil and maintain the bath.
3. Complete the specified rinses and check for a continuous, water-break-free water film. Prevent dried residues before further surface treatment.
