For blackening ferrous hardware, fasteners and mechanical parts at ambient temperature, with a subsequent sealing process. For ambient-temperature black finishes on ferrous parts. The blackening film and sealer form a combined system; degreasing, rust removal, rinsing and sealing quality directly affect appearance and protection.

Application guidelines

1. Degrease, remove rust and rinse as specified. Ensure uniform cleanliness and confirm colour on a sample.
2. Make up the bath and control ambient-temperature treatment as specified in the TDS. Check colour and bath condition.
3. After rinsing, seal and dry promptly as prescribed. Check colour, rub-off and agreed protection criteria.
