Low-Sludge Tube Drawing Phosphating Agent

Product overview

A low-sludge phosphating treatment for steel tubes before cold drawing or cold rolling. The conversion coating carries subsequent soap-based or other approved tube-drawing lubricants. For diameter and wall reduction within the specified medium- to low-temperature process. Evaluate tube grade, reduction and lubricant system; check internal and external coverage, drainage and trapped air before drawing.

Application guidelines

1. Degrease, pickle and rinse inside and outside surfaces. Ensure trapped liquid and air do not obstruct internal treatment.
2. Control bath conditions and replenish from analysis using the matched TDS system. Confirm PH-107 compatibility before use.
3. Rinse, lubricate and dry as prescribed. Check internal coverage and review drawn surfaces and die condition.
